About the Consortium

The STOP consortium is composed by eight partners: the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal, Spain), the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC, The Netherlands), Universidad de León (ULE, Spain), Fundação Manhiça – Centro de Investigação em Saúde de Manhiça (CISM, Mozambique), Bahir Dar University (BDU, Ethiopia), Liconsa (Chemo, Spain), Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI, Kenya) and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM, UK). The five European and three Sub-Saharan partners have distinct yet highly complementary areas of expertise. This combination is key to the project’s success and will help enhance south-to-south, north-to-north and north-to-south cooperation and networking.
